Advanced Laser Hair Removal with Alma Titanium (Soprano)

At Joyful Brain & Medical Spa, we use the Alma Titanium (Soprano platform) — a medical-grade laser system designed for safe, effective, and comfortable hair reduction across all skin types.

Unlike single-wavelength lasers, Alma Titanium combines three clinically proven wavelengths in one treatment:

755nm (Alexandrite) – Targets superficial hair follicles and finer hair
810nm (Diode) – Penetrates mid-depth follicles and treats most hair types
1064nm (Nd:YAG) – Reaches deeper follicles and is safer for darker skin tones

By layering these wavelengths, we can safely treat different hair depths and densities in the same session.

How It Works

Laser energy selectively targets melanin within the hair shaft, delivering controlled heat down to the hair bulb and stem cell region (bulge area) — the structures responsible for future hair growth.

The surrounding skin remains protected through integrated cooling technology, making treatments more comfortable and reducing downtime.

Understanding the Hair Growth Cycle

Hair grows in three phases:

✓ Anagen (Active Growth Phase)
The hair is attached to the follicle and actively growing.
👉 This is the only phase where laser can effectively disable the follicle.

✓ Catagen (Transition Phase)
The follicle begins to shrink and detach.

✓ Telogen (Resting Phase)
The hair sheds and the follicle rests before starting a new cycle.

At any given time, only ~10–30% of hairs are in the active anagen phase, which is why multiple sessions are required.

Why Multiple Sessions Are Needed

Because laser hair removal only permanently reduces hair in the active growth phase, treatments are spaced every 4–8 weeks to catch new hairs as they enter anagen.

Most patients require:
